It’s been a long time

I was found to have an AC in 1949 and it surprises me after joining this group to hear how poor medical assistance is in 2026. Mine was discovered when I was laid on my back and the back of my head touched whatever it was I was laying on and I would either scream or vomit. I was operated on then, I was two and I grew up believing it had been removed. In 2010 I had an MRI for other reasons and was very surprised to find it was still there and was told that it was neatly sitting in the space cut in my scull for it. The MRI image was about full size and it looked just about the size of an average egg. I did ask at the time how did they know it wasn’t a new one but never got an answer to that, besides, that wasn’t the reason I was there. Now at 79 my wife complains I never remember anything so after constant nagging I visited the doctor. This resulted in a ct scan just to see if anything was amiss, it resulted in an MRI being suggested. This was only seen at my GP’s office and couldn’t be moved but it’s size it now 89x39x33 mm and can be seen pressing quite a lot into my brain, so I’m now taking action.
